Senior High Mission Trip -
Fusion Team goes to Memphis!
Twenty-one
senior high youth and four adult leaders went to Memphis,
Tennessee during June to serve at SOS (Service Over Self), doing
home repairs for the elderly and disadvantaged in that area.
While there, they worked on
roofs, made new friends, and were challenged to live out their
faith and strengthen their convictions. All came home with not
only a sense of accomplishment but also a sense of wonder at how
great our God is, and how God works in all areas, through all
people, and in all circumstances. Thanks to everyone who
supported them in their mission work, whether through donations,
prayers, or an extra special goodie! Special thanks to Rev.
Suzanne Goodwin (her first mission trip as leader and
coordinator - and she survived!), Rev. Margo Dexter, Christian
Striffler, and Ross Arseneau for getting the youth there and
back safely, and for sharing their lives and faith with them
this summer! Students and adults will share some of their
experiences and more pictures on Sunday, August 12, 2007 at both
the 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services. Come join us!

definitely was a week of
high-energy Jr. High local mission where youth going into the
7th, 8th, and 9th grades became "Friends
Reaching
Out
for
God"!!!
We reached people not only in our local area but in places as
far away as Europe! You rock, junior highs!! Thanks to all who
helped make this a great week!!
