As the church put together a 5 Year Blueprint for Ministry, roles have been redefined and she serves as Office Administrator with areas of responsibility as Director of Communications (multimedia, special publications, graphics art/design) and Worship Producer, the favorite part of her job - and her passion - as she helps people to experience God in worship.

Oh, and she sings with the band, man! She's married to Randy. They have three daughters and 8 grandchildren.

Tracey Huber

Tracey Huber

Coordinator of Early Childhood Education

Tracey has spent most of her life caring for and/or teaching children — first, as the oldest of four siblings, then as babysitter, daycare worker, and finally teacher and mother. She holds a masters degree in teaching from the University of Virginia and BA from Wayne State University and likes to think she's earned another degree with all the parenting and child development books she's read ;). She taught 7 years in Metro Detroit public high schools before transitioning to staying home to teach her children and tutor others. She is happily married to Chris and is the homeschooling Mom to Jonas, Tobias, and Mattias. Tracey is passionate about teaching children how much they are loved by God, how big His grace is towards them, and how important and capable they are.

She has participated in numerous bible studies, book studies, parent groups, mission projects, and general church activities. Prior to her time at the church, she worked at a substance abuse center for teenagers, taught high school social studies for twelve years, and coached high school basketball.

Kelly has a passion for the youth, missions, and faith formation. As Director of Discipleship, the primary focus for the upcoming year will be middle and senior high youth groups, youth programming, and the youth mission trip. A seamless Christian education experience for our Orchard children, preschool through high school, will also be a priority.

While playing basketball at Albion College, Kelly met her husband, Steve. They have three children, Drew, Sam, and Erin.

Mari Anne Wilcox joins the Orchard staff to coordinate Sunday mornings, connect people with each other and with ministries in the church, and to connect the church to the community. She’s previously served on staff as Children’s Ministry Director and then as Nursery Coordinator.

Mari Anne taught Special Ed (high school level) for Farmington Public Schools for 20 years. She recently retired due to lupus and its complications, went crazy as a stay-at-home mom, and is now very excited to talk with people and plan parties in this new position.

Mari Anne has three great kids: Marisa, Haley, and Keegan. She loves playinf golf with her husband Rob and being outside with her kids in summer. Not only was Mari Anne’s love of younger children evident in her previous responsibilities at Orchard, you can tell she loves the older kids, too – she’s been on the last few Senior High Mission Trips!

She is passionate about helping the children of Orchard discover their own faith and use their gifts from God to do mission work in the community.

Dr. Tom Clark

Dr. Tom Clark

Organist

Dr. Tom is a clinical psychologist during the week and our organist on Sundays and for special services. Tom started piano lessons at age 4 and, as he says, “The rest is history!” His day job of being a “shrink” has him working with police officers, firefighters, pilots, and athletes, but that doesn’t outshine his love of being organist at Orchard. Some of the top joys in his life are assisting in praise and worship, being a musical blessing to others, and especially playing on one of the largest instruments in the state.

Tom has given concerts in such far-flung venues as the National Cathedral in Washington D.C., Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, and St. Andrew’s Cathedral in Honolulu. He has been on Orchard's staff since 2000, and he adds that every year he has spent at Orchard has helped him grow in his love for the Lord and the ministry of this grace-filled congregation.
