Jantz Black

Jantz Black

Director of Music Ministries

Jantz Black joined the Orchard ministry team as full-time Director of Music in July 2019. He has a degree in piano performance, with experience in piano, organ, handbells, praise band, conducting, and composition. Jantz has a wide interest in all kinds of music and worship styles. His dream for Orchard’s music ministries is to engage as many people in as many musical ways as possible. He also has two great kids, Christopher and Adrian.

Dr. Tom Clark

Dr. Tom Clark

Organist

Dr. Tom is a clinical psychologist during the week and our organist on Sundays and for special services. Tom started piano lessons at age 4 and, as he says, “The rest is history!” His day job of being a “shrink” has him working with police officers, firefighters, pilots, and athletes, but that doesn’t outshine his love of being organist at Orchard. Some of the top joys in his life are assisting in praise and worship, being a musical blessing to others, and especially playing on one of the largest instruments in the state.

Tom has given concerts in such far-flung venues as the National Cathedral in Washington D.C., Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, and St. Andrew’s Cathedral in Honolulu. He has been on Orchard's staff since 2000, and he adds that every year he has spent at Orchard has helped him grow in his love for the Lord and the ministry of this grace-filled congregation.
