Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to participate at Orchard regardless of membership. Membership occurs when people are willing to make a commitment that says, "This is my church and I have a responsibility to it." 

 

Membership classes are offered at least twice a year. It is a one-time meeting conducted by the pastors, but informal enough to entertain any of the questions or concerns expressed by those seeking membership. The classes are normally held on a Sunday evening, with childcare provided for those who have young children. Dessert and coffee are served. 

 

Connection is at the heart of Orchard's vision. We feel that our members will expect to support their church by attending worship on a regular basis, participate in at least one activity aimed at helping them grow spiritually, give of their time to some mission/service project, financially support the church, and pray regularly for their Orchard family and community.
