Fall 2019 WNT Adult Class Offerings
Habits of Grace Life is busy. We run from one thing to next. The idea of dedicated prayer time, or Sabbath rest, or spiritual discipline feels overwhelming, or silly. This class will give you ways to grow in your faith and strengthen your spiritual connection with God even in the midst of a busy life. Each week will focus on a different “Habit of Grace.” Led by Pastor Amy, this is a class that will stand alone, so feel free to come to all six or just when you’re able. Parlor
Freed-Up Financial Living An engaging 6-lesson course that combines encouraging, grace-filled financial teachings with an excellent balance of biblical principles and practical applications. Discover tools and develop skills to help you control your finances so your finances don’t end up controlling you! Led by Mike Stafiej and Thom Parker. Room 200
Generosity Challenge Using the book The Generosity Challenge, Suzanne Kosiba and Dan Harmon will provide a facilitated discussion designed to enhance the participants’ understanding of the elements that make up generosity. These elements include the roles that faith, prayer, and gratitude play in our journey to be the generous people God intended us to be. Room 202—from October 2-October 23
Raising Financially Freed-Up Kids A workshop for parents aimed to help you prepare your kids to handle financial matters when they are out on their own. Specific Christian-based methods for ages 4-10, 11-13, and 14-18. Led by Kelly Sheckell. Room 202—November 6
Freed-Up in Later Life This workshop looks at planning for later life from a biblical perspective, explores some of the common assumptions about retirement, points out how to best prepare financially for later life and covers the basics of long-term investing. It provides a wealth of information and places it in a biblical context. Led by RJ Bussone. Room 202—November 13
Christ Walk Come join us as we work towards walking in Jesus' footsteps to focus on improving physical health while engaging in spiritual and mental reflection and growth. We will base our time together in the book Christ Walk, which encourages us to take so many steps each day to simulate a route Jesus would have walked. Led by Lesley Bonsky. Room 102
Come and enjoy Wednesday Nights Together!
