Winter/Spring 2020 WNT Adult Class Offerings
This session we are offering two different ways to grow in faith. We are excited to offer stand-alone programs in Rooms 200-202 for the first two weeks before Ash Wednesday and then we’ll join together in our Lenten study of Everybody, Always as it’s offered on Wednesday nights and other days and times during Lent (see description below—class schedules to follow).
February 12 - Come and learn about CARES of Farmington Hills from speaker Todd Lipa. The mission
of CARES is to offer comprehensive support services for individuals and their families in and around the Farmington Hills area that are in need or have limited access to everyday support in the areas of food, clothing, job education and training as well as access to other community and county support services—all on one campus.
February 19 - Rev. Erin Fitzgerald from St. Paul’s UMC in Rochester will be speaking on “Strength Finders,” on finding your strengths and how to use them in life and church life.
Small Groups to Start in Lent
This year our Lenten topic is: “Be Love: Everybody Always.” Based on the book Everybody Always by Bob Goff, we will explore how to become love in a world full of setbacks and difficult people. We are very excited to launch our new small group ministry with this wonderful theme. If you are interested in leading a small group, please contact Lesley Bonsky or Sheri Hicks. Small group registration will begin mid February. Everybody Always is available at amazon.com or you can pre-order and pay for a book at the Welcome Desk.
